bananarama

How wonderful to grow up in an age when two approximately three-year-old friends can share a banana, a glass of water, and something approximating a chat in high quality, real time, trans-Atlantic (free to their parents) video! I don’t care if you spend your day with puppies and kittens trying on tiny little sweaters with matching hats, you’ve never seen anything as cute as Nora and Salomé video chatting.

Salomé wants to know why her hair looks so funny in this picture. I can’t quite convince her that’s how it really looks when she won’t let me brush it.

Hear, hear! From “Granny Nanny” who was fortunate to witness this event from the Germany side. If this is usual for these children, imagine what they will think is way-cool in about 10 years.
Loved this more than I can say. Deb B.

I think her hair looks adorable.

When I was a kid it was a really big deal to call Ireland. It was expensive, the sound quality was atrocious, and you had to get used to pausing so the electrical impulses could trudge their lonely way across the cables (laid at astronomical cost) separating our continents. All of this was already amazing, though, given that my parents moved here on a boat (not kidding). Now things are much more directly astronomical and it’s stunning to me how smoothly it all operates.

I love that we have the honor of being alive for all of this.

I think these two girls have a long friendship ahead of them and it will always be special. They will be BFFs.
