arrival at the spray park

August 13th, 2010 by clunis

Last weekend we took Nora to a nearby spray park (a normal park, no admission, with giant metal sculptures that spray water on you — you’ll see). I’m going to put up a massive post with tons of pictures later today but for now I hope you’ll enjoy this video we shot of Nora realizing why it was, exactly, that she was wearing her bathing suit.

A no admission spray park? Fantastic! I’m not sure I’d be able to tear my kids away. Looking forward to the coming post with photos.

    Where is said spray park?

they have them in Plymouth and Canton, that I know of. Ann Arbor really needs one but the amount of water wasted seems crazy.

Excellent video! She seemed very excited.

Maybe they recycle the water or something through some sort of filtration system. Or, maybe people in Michigan don’t really worry about wasting water being surrounded by the Great Lakes, and having abundant rainfall.
