Story Chair

One of the fringe benefits of giving up diapers… we mentioned that Nora is out of diapers, right? That it happened about 2 months ago? That she very, very rarely has accidents and is terribly (and rightfully) proud of herself?

We didn’t?

You should demand your money back.

One of the fringe benefits of giving up diapers is that your changing table goes away and can be replaced by a big, comfortable story chair. This chair is good for reading, singing, cuddling, mending boo boos, talking about what happened during the day (or what is going to happen), trying to fall asleep, putting on shoes, and who knows how many other uses. Nora is very pleased.

The sesame street light switch behind the chair turns on a dedicated reading light. We hope to minimize (or at least delay?) Nora’s need for the glasses her mom and I both need.

(Noticing that outlet by the bed.) Is 2.67 past the age where you have to worry about covering all the power outlets? I feel like Faire (3.2) understands not to stick things in them and I’m not sure how paranoid about it to be with Cantor (1.5).

good eye, Danny. This photo was taken between furniture relocation and the first bedtime. I’m absolutely confident that Nora would, given the opportunity, stick something in an electrical socket. I covered them before bed.
