   What kind of high chair do you have, and would you recommend it to others? Does it take up a lot of space?

   And not being able to do that is perhaps the worst thing about having braces. Counting down the months….

   I don’t recommend our high chair, no (and this isn’t it).

   If we had it to do over we’d probably have just gotten one of those portable plastic booster/high chair deals that strap to a normal chair like this seat. Another nice alternative is to go to a restaurant supply store and pick up one of the wooden chairs they have at pretty much every restaurant. I’ve seen them for $20, they’re clearly durable and seem to support a wide range of kids.

   The portable seat you linked to is just the one we had – it’s made it through two kids, and I’d recommend it to anyone.
