boston children’s museum

June 18th, 2009 by clunis

I half expected the boston children’s museum to be multiple floors of dioramas and specimens of boston children in natural-like poses and environs. Luckily, it turns out to be a giant play space with things like a bubble room, golf ball raceways, a massive climbing… thing, a room specifically for letting toddlers go bonkers, and like this. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Nora’s time there.

Was it any better (or worse) than the Hands On Museum in Ann Arbor?

I think it was far better than the hands-on museum. It was certainly larger and with a lower percentage of broken exhibits.

[...] seen one of these full-body bubble things before (at the Boston Children’s Museum) so she knew just what it was and made a beeline for it today at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. [...]
