Some firsts we could definitely do without. I think everyone at Ruggles End would be happier if Nora had 2 fewer ear infections and if I could get healthy even for a minute. I swear someone is going to nail a quarantine sign to the door if Jen gets sick again.

i predict you’ll all be well by Spring – and with very, very hearty immune systems! (did you all get flu shots?) ain’t institutionalization grand?

She looks absolutely miserable … :) On a more serious note, we understand how you feel. Our kids were sick through their Fall Break from preschool, and Maggie’s croup has continued through the weekend. I’ve been a little under the weather, too – but at least I have had good reason to just sit and snuggle with the kids!

yeah, Jojo, we all got flu shots. We did this because the two of us with sets of car keys believe in evolution. :)
I’m sorry to hear you are all sick too, Ryan Leigh. I had foolishly assumed that those in more temperate climes enjoyed similarly more temperate cold & flu seasons.
