ten years:ten months

September 26th, 2008 by clunis

As of today, Jen and I have been married for 10 years. It sounds like a long time, but it absolutely doesn’t feel like it. I can’t speak for Jen, of course, but to me it feels like only yesterday that her aunts were threatening my life in the parking lot of our rehearsal dinner and my mother and sister were threatening the life of the air conditioning repair man at our reception. Now we have a beautiful daughter who, coincidentally, turns 10 months old today. I guess the take away message from all this is that life is short and good things fly by.

Sometimes, though, good things choose to take the stairs rather than fly.

    Way to go Nora!!

Happy Anniversary Jen and Kevin! We share your anniversary date. We are at 16 years and counting. You are so right. Life is short and time does fly by. Lucky people like us realize that and savor the special moments.

Happy Anniversary, and happy gate installing! We celebrated our 10th this year, as well – it truly does fly by! Thankfully, we are at the point of taking down some of our baby-proofing measures. I assure you, it won’t be long until you are doing the same!

Whoa…I remember melting at your reception, too! I also remember the refinishing of the beautiful floors that Nora now crawls all over. Time flies when you’re having babies! She’s adorable, by the way….my kids would maul her with hugs & kisses if we were closer!
