Nora and I took advantage of the balmy Ann Arbor spring weather to toss on our snow suits and try out the new stroller her Granny McGowan bought her yesterday. This thing is really comfortable and easy to push and, as you can see, Nora likes it too.

We said no blankets. That’s three blankets*. Can’t you count!?

Also, today is Nora’s five month birthday. Happy birthday, little bean!
* yeah, we know the baby isn’t supposed to sleep with blankets yet.
Nora seems to like her new cup (no BPA, no pthalates, no cthulu) but she doesn’t *quite* get how it works yet.

It won’t be much longer and we’ll have to get Nora her own computer.

Who doesn’t like to curl up with their favorite giraffe after a long day?

Nora can’t really stand on her own yet, but with some external maternal stabilization she’s happy to get some wear into the old Robeez.

Nora came into the lab this morning to help me run some subjects. :)

Nora and I went for a long walk this afternoon using this weird backpack thing we inherited (from Jojo by way of Ellie). The point of this walk was to help her take a much-needed mid-afternoon nap. This photo, taken immediately after we got home, documents the relative success of that mission.

I also carried a large, multi-colored parasol on this walk. I don’t even want to speculate how nerdy I looked.
Nora, Jen, and I spent some time this afternoon kicking back and enjoying some glasses of water. For a first-timer we think she remained remarkably dry.

Here you see Nora wearing what I believe to be Ellie’s old watermelon outfit (matching watermelon hat, not pictured) and wearing socks from Ellie’s parents while sitting in Ellie’s bumbo. Thanks, Ellie (and Katie & Willie)!
