10 hours of sleep.

10 uninterrupted hours of sleep are a lot in anyone’s book. If you’re a 15 week old baby girl, though, 10 hours is kind of astonishing. Nora went to bed at 9:30pm Friday and stayed asleep until 7:30am Saturday. Then she went to sleep at about 9:15pm last night, got jostled a bit at 10:00 by us packing up to leave grandma & grandpa’s house, lost an hour to the infernal absurdity that is daylight saving time, and slept until 7:00am this morning. Here she is cuddled up on Jen for a mid-afternoon nap:

The staff meeting on Friday must have really exhausted her AND the screaming while Auntie Carrots tried to babysit as Jen made a conference call. Nora wasn’t having that…

impressively, she did almost the same thing again last night. I tell you it feels like we have a (very welcome) trend on our hands*.

*note that I eschew superstition in all forms and therefore have no qualms at all about putting this kind of thing in print.
