Nora’s BFF (bear friend forever)
Since they first met Nora has gotten a bit larger, older, and more outgoing (and less asleep). Ruggles still isn’t too sure about this interloper, but in this shot they look like two old pals down at the pub for a drink.

Everything had started off cordial enough.

The conversation in this second picture went like this:
nora: “nga nga nga”
ruggles: “please do not drool on me. My fur is not easily laundered.”
nora: *raspberry*
ruggles: “touché, my little friend, touché”

The situation grew increasingly tense and led to a few breathless moments of stare-down as the adoptive siblings attempted to establish dominance. (How do you stare down someone whose eyes are buried in fur? This baby has skills, Casey.)

In the end, though, they’re both way too cute to hold a grudge against. The air cleared and everyone (with a mouth) was all smiles (for now).

Hello. Sorry to intrude — I am doing a ‘google search’ for stuffed Ruggles Teddy Bears and I happened to run into your website. The pictures of your daughter (beautiful, by the way) have a stuffed bear in them that looks exactly like the teddy I am looking for (for my new grand-daughter).
If it isn’t too much trouble, could you give me an idea of where I could get a similar Ruggles Bear? (I know they come in two sizes — one is smaller than what, I think, is in your pictures).
Thanks in advance.

No intrusion at all, Thomas. Ruggles the Bear is by North American Bear — but I can’t find him online anymore. Perhaps he’s been discontinued? My friends Hans and Tricia own an amazing toy store:

and online toy store:

at this moment they have one 36″ Ruggles left in stock (our Ruggles is the 18″); I can’t tell which one you’re looking for, but I hope you’re able to find him.
