Nora Evelyn McGowan

Here’s a slightly older picture (January 5th) that I never got around to posting of Nora and her Grandma K sharing a little hand chewing time. This picture makes me the tiniest bit wistful because that pink outfit is too small for Nora now; one of many garments on the monotonically increasing pile that no longer fit her. *sniff*

Granny took us all out to Buddy’s today in mildly belated (and unbearably frozen) celebration of Jen’s birthday. Here’s Nora’s more contemplative side:

Nora is eleven weeks old today and, as you can see, still a little blurry. We can’t wait until she sharpens up and we get a good, clear look at her.

Week twelve starts Monday which means soon we’re going to start telling people we had a baby. I wonder if anyone’s noticed?

Nora finally got to meet her great aunts Marge & Ginny this weekend while attending her very first Superbowl party. Nora wasn’t interested in either the game or the commercials, but did seem to enjoy the large, squishy chair and her pretty dress.
