got yer (er… my?) nose!

I think it may not be easy to tell in the larger version of this photo (A) that she’s looking at herself in a mirror and (2) how darn cute she is. So… here’s a properly-cropped version of the photo from the last post. :) I also neglected to mention before that she now weighs 10 pounds, 3 ounces and is doing extremely well.

We took our poor little girl to the doctor today for her two month checkup and pin-cushion practice. She got her first round of immunizations and, judging by the amplitude and fury of her reaction she did not approve. Here’s a picture from a happier, more innocent time, taken just moments before the subdermal unpleasantness.

Nora picked up my credit card today and, as you can see, was pretty excited about it. She’s not a bundle of joy, she’s a 10 pound stimulus package. Oh yeah, she was two months old yesterday and will be nine weeks old tomorrow. Did I just blow your mind!?

After several attempts, I have managed to capture a smile (even if it is slightly blurry):

I’m still not allowed put electrodes on the baby, but the audiologist? well… he’s free to strap her right up to the ERP and check the functioning of her VIIIth cranial nerve, cochlea, middle ear, the whole works. I’m so jealous.

oh. she hears very well, thanks.

makes me happy. that’s 9 lbs 9 ounces of eight week old cute perched up there.

Nora’s motto: vote early, vote often.
